Has it been a month?
A month already. Jack went to the docotr today. He weighed 11 pound 12.5 ounces. He had gained over two pounds in a month! So the digestion issues and reflux I was worried about are weighing easier on my mind. The doctor did tell me to start giving him juice. It sure seems early for that but I trust my doctor. The problem is he wants to eat every two hours still and then he gets sick so the juice should help him to learn to go longer between feedings. I guess the juice with water is less filling than the breast milk. He was 22 1/2 inches long along. I will get some pics on here soon! Love from all of us. April
One week old
Jack was 9 lbs 6 oz when we left the hospital and at 8 days old he was 9 lbs 9.5 oz so he's almost back to birth weight. We had a little ordeal with jaundice and I had to stop nursing for a couple days but all is better now.
Ella loves being a big sister
Ella just was glowing when she met Jack and despite a little jealousy you can tell she loves her baby brother.
